Mark O'Connor

My name is Mark O’Connor, and I am delighted to be involved with the trust.

I live in Tauranga, am married to Helen, and have two adult sons – Daniel and Matthew. I graduated with a business degree from university and have since worked within the insurance industry, initially on the insurer/underwriting side, before becoming a broker in 2004. I have been a shareholder and director of Bay Insurance Brokers Ltd for the past 19 years. My interests and expertise include risk management, financial analysis, budgeting, finance and investments.

I was introduced to the activities of the Brain Injured Children Trust over the years through my business association with the Wilson family, who I have greatly admired for their achievements and kindness supporting and encouraging the children and their families over many years.

I look forward to being able to contribute to the ongoing growth of BICT and to enable more children and families to access Neuro-Development Therapy and similar support.

Would you like to help?

We are always looking for volunteers, sponsors, or donations to support us in improving the lives of brain injured children. Thank you for reaching out.
