Litia Brighouse-Fuavao

Talofa lava! My name is Litia Brighouse-Fuavao. I am excited to be part of the board for an organisation that is making a marked difference in the community.

I am originally from Samoa, a mother of two beautiful children, with a background in community development and engagement.  I am passionate about breaking down barriers and making essential services more accessible to communities that need them the most.

I have worked in the private and not-for-profit sectors for over 10 years in Samoa and New Zealand, as well as an additional 6 years in the biggest local government agency in New Zealand, supporting elected politicians through partnerships and collaborations with diverse communities.   

I look forward to working with the team to continue to grow the organisation and reach out to more families who might need assistance.
