“My involvement in the Brain Injured Children’s Trust began after being close with the Wilson family through early adulthood. Between being a close friend of Shirley and Glenn’s daughter, Corena and thinking of Shirley as a second mother, I was more than happy to offer my skills to the Trust.

I am a 22 year old Communications student at AUT, studying Public Relations and advertising with experience in writing. With a passion for people, storytelling and making a difference I make a good edition to the wonderful group of people who work at the Trust. I have had the huge privilege of traveling with Shirley, meeting individual members of the Trust and seeing the incredible difference these people make, it truly is a pleasure to give back to the community in such a wholesome way.”
